There has never been a better time to get behind the wheel of an SUV. Why? Well, with soaring popularity, car manufacturers have quickly ramped up the number of SUVs that they offer and here at My Electric Lease, you’ll find some of the latest and greatest examples.

Jaecoo 8

While it might be the 7 which put Jaecoo on the map, it’s the 8 that we’re currently loving. It’s a big, premium SUV which has loads of great features but still offers that value-focused approach that has made Jaecoo such a household name.

It’s available with six or eight seats and, with the former, you’re getting a luxurious business-class-like experience with chairs that recline and even have massaging functions.

MG HS

MG has been behind some of the most popular SUVs around and here at My Electric Lease, they’re a firm favourite. The HS is easily one of MG’s most practical options, with a large boot and loads of interior storage. We really like the widescreen infotainment setup, too, and there's a variety of interior options, including a very classy brown leather finish.

The HS is available with both hybrid and plug-in hybrid options, meaning whichever option you go for you’ll be getting a very efficient driving experience.

BYD Atto 3

BYD was one of the first brands to ride the wave of new Chinese manufacturers arriving in the UK and, ever since, it has proven to be a reliable and dependable choice. The Atto 3 was the car to kick things off but, recently, it has been given a significant refresh to keep things current.

A new battery pack means that, in certain models, the BYD Atto 3 can manage an impressive 316 miles between charges. Rapid charging means that a 10 to 80 per cent top-up can be completed in just over 20 minutes, too.

Chery Tiggo 8

Chery is another brand that is only going from strength to strength and with the Tiggo 8, it appears to be on to another winner. It was the car to kick off Chery’s presence in the UK, in fact, and arrives with a clever plug-in hybrid setup capable of returning up to 54 miles of electric-only power.

All cars come loaded with equipment, too, including a 15.6-inch infotainment screen and heated front seats.

Cupra Terramar

We love Cupra’s edgy style here at My Electric Lease and if you’re looking to get a slice of that from your next SUV, then you’ll want to check out the Terramar. There’s a great range of engines to choose from with the Terramar, too, with the 1.5-litre eHybrid model bringing a solid blend of performance and efficiency.

With features such as three-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control and a large central infotainment screen, the Terramar is a car which certainly doesn’t feel short on kit, either.

Vauxhall Frontera

You may remember the original Frontera. It was a boxy, utilitarian and decidedly chunky SUV which has now been reinvented as a brand new model. Keeping with the rest of Vauxhall’s current designs, it’s got an impactful front-end design which utilises the brand’s ‘Vizor’ feature which has been used on all manner of the brand’s cars.

It’s available with a silky smooth electric setup, too, with 54kWh battery models able to return up to 253 miles on a charge.
